Arriving at Au Soleil, I was immediately taken aback by the stunning beauty of the village it is situated in. The traditional charm of the main house and restaurant created a cozy atmosphere that truly enhanced my dining experience. The staff were not only welcoming but also efficient and helpful, making me feel right at home. My room, although small, was surprisingly comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. And let's not forget the lovely swimming pool that I enjoyed from my balcony. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, with a range of delicious Alsatian specialties. my stay at Au Soleil was nothing short of excellent. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The rooms at Au Soleil are absolutely amazing! They have a cozy, homely feel that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The beds are super comfortable, and the soundproofing is top-notch, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, having free WiFi and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower is a major bonus for a solo traveler like me.
I personally wasn't a fan of the tile/marble floors in the single room. But hey, that's just my preference - others might love it!

Lovely pool, friendly staff, renovated bathroom, convenient location, spacious rooms, comfortable bed.
No issues.

Despite the hotel being small, its facilities were great, from the lovely indoor pool to the recent renovation of the bathroom and powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant menu offered a good variety of food.
The room was incredibly small with almost no headspace, and the slanting wall made it difficult to move around. the strong smell of mildrew/mould was quite off-putting.

Au Soleil, Hotel Restaurant & Spa in Valff was the perfect choice for my recent business trip. The hotel, selected by my director, exceeded all expectations. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa, which was beautifully designed to provide a moment of relaxation and rejuvenation after a long day of work or exploring the area. It was a wonderful way to unwind and indulge in some well-deserved pampering. I appreciated that access to the spa was exclusive to hotel guests, ensuring a peaceful and serene environment.
Now, moving on to the only minor issue I encountered during my stay.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a great experience. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed taking a dip after a long day of exploring the surroundings. The staff was friendly and provided us with helpful information about the area. the location was perfect for exploring the local Christmas markets and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Our room was quite small and cramped. We didn't have much space to move around, making it difficult to relax in the room.

We found the surroundings of the hotel underwhelming, with limited options for dining outside of the hotel, and the restaurant was fully booked during our stay. the indoor restaurant lacked atmosphere and we opted to eat outside. However, the room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the swimming pool and great spa facilities during our stay.
Regrettably, one aspect of our stay was not satisfactory. We encountered persistent displeasing smells in the accommodation building which greatly impacted our comfort.
